Differents between the model HLM-7 auto lensmeter and Standard market auto lensmeters:

Green LED light

International standard green LED light is at the forefront in new ophthalmic technology.No ABBE compensation is needed and reading is done directly without calculation. Standard market auto lensmeters still use red light, in which ABBE compensation is needed when measuring lenses.

Downward Lighting System

Light is directed downward from top and the optical system is sealed,making it dust and water proof.This feature guarantees measurement accuracy and clean optical paths after prolonged use.Standard market auto lensmeter with light directed upward from bottom have unsealed optical systems in which dust will easily go in and result in unstable measurement and regular re-adjustments.

80 Dots-Data Capturing—–Make sure high accuracy of measurement

Hartman multi-dots data capturing and area measurement is used. HLM-7 can achieve precise measurement with over 80 optical dots calculation.Standard market auto lensmeters have only 3~5 data capturing dots.
